An Adventure That Ends.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to support us at AX Battle of The Bands. We may have lost, but we put on a good show. With this said, We have been discussing and decided we will not be participating next year. This year was our final performance and I am glad everyone came out to support us and this great event. Thank you to all the staff and all fans who have been supporting us over the years. I wish those luck and encourage everyone to try and participate next year. It really is an awesome event and has helped us as a band grow and become a tighter group. We will be still participating in smaller events. We will STILL be playing conventions and not giving up. One Day, We’ll return and claim victory, till then good luck and keep checking our site for updates about our album and new shows.

AX BOTB 10 Audition Finished & Line-Up Revealed

So, We’ve finished our recording and everything is pretty much done. Vocals turned out excellent, Alie is just amazing as ever. Anyways!
So this year we had Ned return but this time he would be taking the role of lead guitar. So, we needed a new bass player for this years audition..

We are  pleased to announce our guest bassist for this years audition, our good friend Jason.

Jason has been playing bass for many years and has been in several bands such as Katet, Speaker For The Dead, Decayed Silence, Diminished Fifth, and a Metallica tribute band called Creeping Death. He has appeared with us once before, In 2009 at MikomiCon’s Masquerade. Jason is an excellent musician and a good addition to the band.

Also check out our Official MySpace page for a sample of our audition for this years Anime-Expo’s Battle of The Bands.

Anime-Expo Battle of The Bands 2010 Audition

So, we have been all quite busy lately. With work to school to searching for new sacred objects.. Yes Yes it belongs in a museum.. BLAH BLAH

Anyways, So we’ve been recording our new track which will NOT be released publicly till July because we plan to shoot an actual music video for this since it’s just so epic! As for recording, we’ve decided to take a different route in recording this time, yes I know last years “Minna no Peace” was quite awesome! (Thank you Ned again)
Well, this year we are aiming for a more punk sound. I will release a clip of the track soon once it is all done and finished and I’ve sent it in to AX BOTB. This year our good friend Paco over at Smiling Thumbs Productions helped us out by recording our live drums. Ned will be returning as enginer and also lead guitar. As for new additions to the line up I am happy to welcome a good friend who will be playing bass. But I wont say who it is till the official things are done.

Recording has gone quite well and we are pleased with the sound so far. A few more things need to be done then we shall submit it and I will let everyone know.

Keep Rockin’

Adventure Blog: April 9th-11th 2010 (Anime Conji)

So, I have been quite busy with working, recovering from this illness, and busy amoung other things to finally write our epic first post in our adventure blog series.

A little bit about the adventure blog….

I came up with an idea to write about our adventures, so there would be documentation of the epicness that happened!

Another note: I suck at writing stuff so bare with me hahahaa

So therefore, We are pleased to bring you, Adventure Blog #1 Anime Conji April 9th-11th 2010

I must say it was quite an awesome weekend. I don’t even know where to start. Let me first say this, this convention has some of the nicest staff. They were absolutely awesome! Anyways moving forward! We arrived on the 9th and attened the Meet The Guests Ice Social Thingy Something Something.. It was nice even though I felt like a little kid at the big kids table with these guests sitting on stage next to me… But it was all in all amusing. After the Meet The Guests we hung out with our new friend The Real Jon Allen, look up some of his comedy it’s really really good. Jon invited myself and Ryo to go listen to his band play at a nearby bar, which was an awesome idea and we dont regret it. Jon you sir are the man! End of Day 1

Day 2 Begins

My first stop, Con Suite! Yes, well prepared food and excellent drinks = a happy con goer and guest. As we make our way out of that awesome suite we head to the dealers hall. I must say I was quite impressed with the dealers hall having J-List a somewhat big japanese uh retailer thingy you could call them be there. Everyone wondered and looked at various things, I bought a few awesome buttons from the cospins booth I believe it was. (Button1 One Piece Button 2 Decepticon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All Hail Megatron ) Anyways my rambling has gone on far enough..

After awhile we all gathered in the pavilion and it’s performance time.. Now here is where I add a video our friend TuxRose took of us

To Be Continued….
